Coaches, ADs from Detroit Mercy and Oakland get a sneak peek of the Little Caesars Arena construction site Monday.

The Horizon League, which will play its men’s and women’s basketball tournaments at Joe Louis Arena this March, will be moving to Little Caesars Arena next season.

So, Tom Wilson, president and CEO of Olympia Entertainment, led a tour of the yet-to-be-completed arena for several higher ups for the two local colleges in the Horizon League, Detroit Mercy and Oakland.

Oakland coaches Greg Kampe and Jeff Tungate along with guard Martez Walker and athletic director Jeff Konya, along with UDM coaches Bacari Alexander and Bernard Scott along with athletic director Robert Vowels Jr. and Horizon League commissioner Jonathan LeCrone went along for the tour.

The District Detroit shared a video of the tour, where you can see some glimpses of the progress inside the downtown Detroit construction.
