Jerry Anning of Dearborn has serious heart problems and Diabetes and had a broken furnace. In fact it was almost as cold inside his home as out. So his sister called Action News and we called The Heat and Warmth Fund and they made some calls and a worker from Flame Heating came out to Jerry's house and fixed the furnace for free, Jerry, who has not worked in a long time, who can barely move without struggling to breathe, who is on oxygen said he was so appreciative and didn't know what he would have done without the help. Marx Layne Public Relations really helped and THAW really helped and Jerry and his sister say they are thankful that someone at Channel 7 listened to Jerry's trouble and took Action as well. Now Jerry doesn't have to sleep with a heavy coat on and the temperature in his home is back where it should be.
