LAUREN GARFIELD-HERRIN PROMOTED TO SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE AT MARX LAYNE & COMPANY

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.— August 2, 2011—Marx Layne & Company, a full-service public relations and digital media agency, announced the promotion of Lauren Garfield-Herrin from account executive to senior account executive. Managing partner Michael Layne made the announcement today.

Since joining Marx Layne in 2006, Garfield-Herrin has been responsible for overseeing the public relations initiatives for clients in the professional service, nonprofit, restaurant and retail sectors.

Garfield-Herrin graduated Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications with a specialization in public relations. She resides in Ferndale.
