Farmington Hills, Mich. – July 8, 2010 – Marx Layne & Company – a full-service marketing, public relations and digital media agency – has promoted Michael Odom to Account Supervisor.  The announcement was made today by managing partner Michael Layne . 

As account supervisor, Odom is responsible for leading major accounts and projects. He is also responsible for assuring client satisfaction, maintaining strong business relationships with primary client contacts, training and evaluating assigned employees, developing and securing new business, and directing the growth of existing accounts.

            Odom previously served as Senior Account Executive and has been employed at Marx Layne for four years. With nearly 15 years of experience in marketing and public relations, Odom currently supervises clients in the following sectors: nonprofit , real estate , quick service restaurants , special events , higher education, Hispanic and Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgendered. 

            He currently serves on the board of directors for the Southwest Detroit Business Association.  Odom resides in Redford Township, Michigan.
