FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. –
August 15, 2010– Pizzeria
Biga has launched its own mobile website (pizzeriabiga.com/mobile). The site is
designed to be compatible with major operating systems such as Android,
BlackBerry and iPhone, offering users an optimal viewing and navigation
experience on their handheld wireless services. The website was designed by Marx Layne &
Company—a full-service marketing and public relations agency.
“Mobile websites are ideal for restaurants as
their customers regularly want quick and easy access their menus, location and
contact information,” says Luciano Del Signore, chef and proprietor of Pizzeria
Biga. “Mobile users are not necessarily seeking the same type of content, or user experience, as those accessing
the Web from their home computer.”
When a user directs a smartphone’s browser to
the Pizzeria Biga website, the site detects how it is being accessed and offers
the user the option to view the mobile version of the site with a single click.
The mobile site features easy access to the
most popular links on the company’s website, such as menus and directions, and
contains fewer graphics than the full website, allowing for a quick page load
on their device. Visitors can also choose to load the complete Pizzeria Biga
website.
Pizzeria Biga is located at 29110 Franklin
