Tell Us Detroit: MGM Grand Detroit host 1st annual, "Touching Communities, Touching Lives" Collegiate Ice Sculpture Competition DETROIT (Tell Us Det) - MGM Grand Detroit held its first annual “Touching Communities, Touching Lives” collegiate freestyle ice sculpture competition Friday, February 11. The event, which included student competitors from culinary programs at three local community colleges, was held on the casino's Grand Garden in Detroit. The top three finishing teams were awarded scholarships to further their education.
