Verizon Wireless Unveils New 4G Network in DetroitOn Sunday, portions of Oakland and Macomb counties will be the first to receive the new 4G LTE wireless network service from Verizon.This includes portions of Auburn Hills, Pontiac, Rochester Hills, Troy, Waterford, Mt. Clemens, Novi, Shelby, Sterling Heights, Utica and Washington - as well as part of Milford to cover General Motors Proving Grounds. A larger Detroit launch was delayed due to interference from a Canadian network. Once the issue is resolved, the company will expand its metro Detroit coverage area.
