When news broke early Monday morning that music icon David Bowie had passed away at the age of 69, music fans went into mourning. Tributes continue to pour in, in the news and over social media.

This week in Ann Arbor, pianist Tim Knapp will pay tribute to David Bowie, one of his favorite artists, by playing his favorite Bowie songs throughout his regular sets at Weber’s Restaurant, 3050 Jackson Ave.

According to a press release from Weber’s, “Knapp is a classically-trained pianist who has mastered instrumental versions of David Bowie, Pink Floyd and other legendary rock acts. Performing Bowie’s songs this week is going to be special, and emotionally challenging, for the pianist whose love for Bowie is as strong as the rest of the world’s.”

Knapp, a practicing psychologist, will perform “Ziggy Stardust,” “Space Oddity,” “Changes,” “As the World Falls Down” and more during sets from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings, and during Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
