McDonald’s Brings Experience of the Future to Wyandotte
The new “Experience of the Future” McDonald’s restaurant model was unveiled by restaurant owner Gary Granader when he celebrated the grand re-opening of his Wyandotte McDonald’s restaurant. During the grand opening on September 14, Granader shared details of the new enhancements in customer conveniences, engagement and service. The changes have been successfully rolled out in more than 2,600 international McDonald’s restaurants and this is the third in Michigan, giving more choice and control in the hands of guests by evolving how they order, how they pay and how they are served.
The modernized restaurant, located at 3421 Biddle Ave., offers dine-in guests the opportunity to place an order and make payment at their own pace with new digital self-order kiosks. The kiosks allow guests to browse the menu, find new options and personalize their meal just the way they want. Customers have the choice with each order to pick-up their order at the counter or have it delivered to tables by McDonald’s crew members, allowing guest to relax and enjoy a more custom dining experience. McDonald’s restaurants are also placing a higher emphasis on hospitality by focusing on greeting customers, assisting with technology, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment.
Said Granader, “The Granader family is excited to welcome our guests to our newly renovated restaurant. It’s more than just about the structural changes. We are working even harder to offer an enhanced service experience so our guests feel like a part of our family. In addition to new points of service like mobile ordering and self-service kiosks, our guests have the option of table service where they can relax while their order is prepared. It is our goal to brighten the day of each customer that visits one of our McDonald’s restaurants.”
